The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and cereal as great and continental options, the staffing teams were really helpful. Location: the hotel was adjacent to the Hill House which is probably Helensburgh's main tourist attraction as well as the park.

For the price, the value was excellent and the room was incredibly comfortable. The location overlooking the estuary and beach was perfect, and the staff were friendly, polite, and always went the extra mile to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
The breakfast menu could have been improved with a touch more variety.

Despite the unexpected weather, our trip to Maybank Guest House was excellent. The warm and friendly welcome we received upon arrival made us feel right at home. The accommodation was faultless, with clean and comfortable rooms and hot showers. We were particularly impressed with the amazing breakfast served by our host Liz. The selection of fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals, toast, spreads. The location was also convenient, within walking distance of the town and many nice restaurants. We had a great weekend overall, despite the minor inconvenience of a shared bathroom and the distance from the main tourist attraction. I highly recommend Maybank Guest House for a wonderful and welcoming stay.
